Stadium Gates Issue #7
Stand Still, Crypto!
Man,
I’ve been trying to get this issue out for weeks, but everything is moving so damn fast that what I write about becomes obsolete before the electronic ink is dry! Well, phew, here we are in February, already…
Mutant Pursuit Club
Ok, let’s do this, team! I started a PartyBid party to acquire a floor Mutant for the Stadium Gates community. Here is the party and the Mutant Ape I have my eye on.

This graphic links to the Party as well.
Why, Ser?
GATEAPE1 would be the first NFT held by the Stadium Gates community, and it would be an experiment that pays dividends as useful experience to advance the adoption of Web3. The floor price of Apes and Mutants has been ascending consistently, and they are now part of the origin story of NFT Summer. The “right-click-save” people out there will not understand why anyone would do this, but they will some day.
How this will work is we’ll attempt to buy this Mutant before someone else comes along. If it’s purchased before we are able to collect enough ETH to acquire the targeted Mutant, then we’ll make an attempt at a different Mutant. If we are unsuccessful and the floor becomes out of reach, we’ll end the party and return the funds, less gas fees of course.
The intent of the purchase is to hold this NFT as long as the contributors are comfortable being illiquid, or an opportunity to exit the asset with significant profit becomes available. This purchase is an effort to collect art as a team. We’re doing this to have fun, so please don’t participate if this isn’t part of your lifestyle and entertainment budget for which you may experience complete loss of the asset value. DYOR and yolo with caution, because this is not investment advice. We’re aping and collecting.
Here is an article to about BAYC in general for more research.

Shrimp Recovered :)
What that title really means is that I recovered my Seed Phrase for my Phantom wallet. (Oopsie). There’s a lesson here: store your seed phrase where you are able to access it if your machine is destroyed.
I can’t say enough about the Shrimp Society. This is a good community with good leadership in place. I highly recommend joining and/or following along their journey. https://twitter.com/shrimpsocnft
If you’d like to buy your own Shrimp, head over to Magic Eden https://magiceden.io/marketplace/shrimp_society_nft
ENS Domains Available
The ENS DAO community had a pretty bad week, but that’s not the reason we’re going to exit some of our .ETH domain name holdings. The reason I’m going to sell a number of domains is to put the ETH back into building Stadium Gates. I’m offering them here to the community if of interest.
Chess .ETH domain collection. https://opensea.io/collection/chess-kings-ens-domains
Poker .ETH domain collection. https://opensea.io/collection/poker-goats
A number of these prices are intentionally high, so feel free to make an offer on Opensea.io if there is one you’re passionate about.
Immutable Type DAO
I am looking to form a team to create a DAO around Immutable Type to advance the project and continue its operations. I have received an opportunity to join an NFT marketplace, but it requires me to no longer operate other projects at the same time. Immutable Type is too important to cancel the and not bring it to life.
To that end, I’ve ended the crowdfund campaign, and I’ve held out on promoting the pitch deck any further while working to organize my transition. Please reach out if you want to be part of this project and are interested in contributing time to build. My role with the DAO will be significant but not operational, so reach out to me directly with interest.
As a refresher, here is the Immutable Type post and its mission to return trust to journalism. Click here to read the post.
Advancing Web3, Exiting Web2
My intent in founding Stadium Gates was to advance Web3 and red pill TF out of my Web2 network. I turned down an offer last week to become the CMO of a public company and continue working in Web2 ecommerce. I turned it down to accept a new full-time position with an NFT marketplace here in Miami. That red pill just hits different TBH. As noted above, I’ll need to drop from building and operating other projects, HOWEVER I will be able to put more weight and credibility behind expanding Stadium Gates as a community and supporting projects that are churned out by its members. I will be sending an announcement about this new role soon, so please hold out for an update.
